Dr. Howard Rosing

Dr. Rosing has over 30 years experience as a medical practitioner. With an engineering background to go with his medical background, Dr. Rosing founded Comfort Release® after treating MARSI related injuries. In the pursuit to help patients avoid common skin injuries he witnessed, he along with Dr. Yadong Wang developed Comfort Release to address MARSI. Today, Dr. Rosing is involved in several problem solving applications in the medical industry through Global BioMedical Technologies LLC.

Dr. Jason Spector

Dr. Jason Spector
Dr. Jason Spector is a nationally-renowned board-certified plastic surgeon, and Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a Professor of Surgery and Otolaryngology at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, and Adjunct Professor in the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. His primary clinical interests include reconstructive microsurgery of the head & neck, breast and lower extremities as well as cosmetic and wound care surgery. Dr. Spector was the recipient of the prestigious 2013 World Technology Network Award in Health & Medicine, being recognized for his innovative research which was chosen as most likely to have long term significance.

Dr. Spector is a member of many professional medical societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Society of University Surgeons, the American Association for Academic Surgery and the Plastic Surgery Research Council. He serves on the editorial board of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Spector is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Laboratory for Bio Regenerative Medicine and Surgery (LBMS) at Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr. Matt Leavitt is a board-certified dermatologist and the Founder and Executive Chairman of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. Additionally, he is the CEO of Leavitt Consulting, Founder & CEO, Leavitt Healthcare Acquisitions, Founder & CEO, Restore Biologics, Chairman Orlando Dermatology Residency Program, Executive Medical Advisor Bosley, and an Assistant Professor UCF, KCUMB. Dr. Leavitt also founded Medical Hair Restoration (MHR), which became the second largest hair restoration practice in the country.

Dr. Leavitt now holds the office of Executive Medical Advisor with Bosley, the largest hair restoration group in the world. As clinical advisor for Merck Pharmaceutical, Dr. Leavitt was among the original physicians selected to study the effects of the hair-growth drug Propecia on hair transplantation.

Dr. Leavitt is recognized both nationally and internationally as an accomplished author, clinical researcher, surgeon and lecturer. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Leavitt completed his residency at Ohio University Grandview Medical Center.

Gerry is currently on the Boards of HIDA’s Education Foundation, ROI’s Vendor Advisory Council, and Healthcare Manufacturing Management Council (HMMC) where he recently served as President. DUKAL stays involved with St John’s University, mentoring students in the Business Plan Competition and hosting multiple sessions in their Executive in Residence Program.

Bill Block

Bill Block
Bill Block has more than 30 years of leadership experience. After college, Bill served for eight years as an infantry officer and Airborne Ranger in the US Army and Army Reserves. Upon completion of his military service, he distinguished himself in various sales, marketing and general management positions with Baxter, McKesson and Cardinal – some of the industry’s most prestigious companies – as well as with the smaller medical products firms of Orasure, HemCon and InstruMed. In 2012 Bill was recruited to serve as President and CEO of BCA.

Bill was a key leader for the industry and BCA in their National effort to support the supply of COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma (CCP) during the COVID-19 Pandemic. He helped secure over 500M in funding to support the National requirements of Operation WARP Speed/BARDA and helped drive collections of nearly 700,000 doses of CCP. Recent clinical data shows this life saving therapy reduced mortality rates by nearly 50%. For his outstanding leadership Bill has been recognized with the aabb and ABC President’s Awards.

Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is a retired Accenture partner where he spent 30 years. He was admitted to the partnership of Arthur Andersen & Company, that later became Accenture, in 1984. Mr. Smith served in numerous U.S. and global leadership roles at Accenture in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals and Medical Products, Consumer Goods, Financial Services and Government. During his career Mr. Smith focused on helping the firm’s clients develop strategies to deal with changing markets and apply new technologies to enhance operations and gain competitive advantage.

At the time of his retirement, Mr. Smith was serving on the Board of Accenture. More recently, Mr. Smith has served on the Board of a number of emerging companies.
